PRIVATE EVENTS / WEDDINGS

1. Does TL do private events / weddings?

- Yes.

 

2. How much does it cost to book TL for my private event / wedding?

- TL's performance fee starts at $10,000, plus travel, accommodations and production.

 

3. What does the performance fee get me?

- TL's show, the drums, the lights, the video screens, the lasers, the smoke cannons, the PA system, the rigging, and the crew to deliver it, set it all up, and tear it all down.

4. How long will TL perform for?

- Up to 3 hours.

5. Does TL take any breaks during that time?

- No.

​

6. Can we split the performance into smaller portions? Like 2, 90 minute sets?

- No.

​

7. How much is travel and accommodations?

- This all depends on how far your event / wedding is from Tampa, FL. This could range anywhere from $0 - $10,000 or more. For example, a private event in Ohio would cost about $8,000 in travel and accommodations.

8. How much is production?

- This all depends on if you have what we need to produce the show. (See next question.)

9. What would TL need from me?

- 1. An indoor performance area that is minimum 24 feet wide X 16 feet deep X 12 feet high (from stage floor to lowest part of the ceiling). This could be a stage or an open area.

2. 10 dedicated 20 amp non-load bearing circuits or a dedicated 3-phase 100 amp camlock circuit.

3. A paved, un-obstructed walkway directly from the truck loading area to the stage or truck / tractor access directly to the stage.

4. A private dressing room for TL and his crew before, during, and after the show.

10. What if I have the space, but not the power?

- No worries, we can rent a generator at an additional production cost. They usually cost between $1,000 - $2,000.

11. What if my event / wedding is outdoors?

- That's fine, just as long as the entire performance area is covered and on a solid and level surface (IE, concrete, asphalt, etc.).

​

12. What if my performance area isn't covered?

- That's OK, we can rent a tent at an additional production cost. They usually cost between $1,000 - $2,000.

13. What if my performance area is on grass / sand?

- That's fine, we can rent a mobile stage for the event at an additional cost. They usually cost $2,000 - $5,000. Also, if this is the case, more time may be needed for load-in / load-out.

14. Can TL perform outside the continental United States?

- At the moment, no.

​

15. What does TL need as far as parking?

- On-site parking for a 40' box truck that has direct access to the loading zone or stage at all times.

​

16. Does this include DJ / Master of Ceremonies services for my wedding?

-No. If you need a PA (sound system / speakers) during your ceremony, DJ / background music during cocktail hour, Master of Ceremonies for making announcements / speeches, or anything else of that nature, you'll need to hire a separate DJ / MC.

17. If I hire a separate DJ / MC, will they need to bring their own PA (sound system / speakers)?

- Yes.

​

18. Does TL take requests?

- Yes and if they are already a part of his catalog, he will do them. If your request is a song he doesn't currently do, he will take it into consideration, but it doesn't guarantee that he will do it.

​

19. What if my event is on a rooftop?

- Just as long as there is a freight elevator that goes to that rooftop, we will be fine. This must be a freight elevator though, as many of our road cases surpass standard elevator weight limits.

20. How much time does TL's crew need access to the performance area before / after the show?

- TL's crew will need access to the performance area a minimum 6 hours before showtime and 3 hours after the show ends.

​

21. What if my venue has a noise ordinance?

- You may want to reconsider booking because TL's show is big and loud! But, if there is a cut off time, we would gladly work within that time frame.

​

22. Can TL do a scaled down / shorter version of his show to lower the cost?

- Unfortunately no because the cost of the production of the show is the same whether he plays for 30 minutes or 3 hours.

​

23. Does TL do events for exposure / charity?

- As much as he would love to, no.

​
